TESTIMONIALS
From our beloved customers..
This is my favorite sushi place in Baltimore so far! I got the Tuna TarTar as the appetizers and spilt the Sushi for 3 with some friends. There were so many different types sushi on the plate! It was really difficult to figure out what to eat first. The Tuna TarTar was interesting... I think the flavors (crunchy topping with some fish-sauce dressing) really overpowered the tuna. I'm not too big of a fan. The standard miso soup and salad (with two different types of dressing, ginger or sesame). There were 3 pieces of each type of sushi in the sushi bowl, so there was no fighting over the sushi! 😉 LOTS of sashimi, and the fatty salmon was great. (Obviously, I really judge sushi places by their sashimi). This salmon sushi LITERALLY melted in my mouth. If you like delicious fresh sushi, then I think Brothers Sushi is definitely on your to-eat list.
Tammy T. (Baltimore, MD)Love love love Brothers Sushi! By far best sushi in fed hill! The tuna tar tar is the best I've ever had ...
Heather I. (Rosedale, MD)Awesome all around. Such nice people and their sushi was amazing! I usually only give bad reviews. But this place was so good that I wanted to spread the word. Large portions and if you tell them things you like they will whip something up for ya! And the pricing was great too! Try the tuna crisp.
Ashley R. (Baltimore, MD)We tried this place on the basis of other Yelp reviews. If we were to base the review on the tuna sushi, we'd give it 5 stars. Both the white tuna and yellow tail were melt in your mouth tender and as sweet as can be. The ika and tako were so-so, but the vegetable roll was heavenly. Service was pleasant and efficient. I'd definitely return next time I'm in the neighborhood.
Peggy M. (San Mateo, CA)Went here for happy hour so this review is pertinent only for those prices: sushi was tasty, rolls were interesting, service was friendly, prices were appropriate. I got a roll with tuna and seaweed salad and it was great.
Yosef B. (Wayne, NJ)We loved it!!! We stopped in for a quick bite before driving back to DC and found this gem. It wasn't crowded (bonus) and the food was amazing. We had the T&T roll and it was phenomenal. The salmon, tuna and white tuna sashimi was super fresh and tasty. The eel sushi was one of the best we've had in Maryland! 🙂 The service and ambiance were impeccable.
Kathy A. (Herndon, VA)This has been my recent go-to place for a decent meal during the weekdays and when I'm craving sushi. I have only come to Brothers Sushi during happy hour which is from 5pm -7pm from Monday to Friday. The normally reasonably priced rolls are cheaper, ranging from $4 to $6. They are pretty lenient about giving you the happy hour deal. My friends and I came in at 6:55 and were still able to order off of the happy hour menu for the rest of our meal. The service is wonderful. They are attentive and constantly coming over to check if you need more water or drinks. I came here today for happy hour, and the experience was generally the same.
Erica M. (Walnut, CA)Since the weather has been so nice, my roommate and I find ourselves going walking after work and grabbing a bite to eat someplace in Federal Hill. On one of our recent adventures, we found ourselves craving Asian and walking past Brothers Sushi. When we walked into Brothers Sushi it was before 7pm and therefore still happy hour. Brothers has a really great happy hour menu which made our entire meal incredibly cheap. My roommate started her meal with Edamame which was good, but nothing particularly special. It tasted like your typical edamame from an Asian restaurant. My roommate also decided to order the Pineapple Crab Wontons. The order came with four wontons filled with pineapple and a creamy crab dip stuffed inside of wontons and then lightly fried. My roommate and I have dined out together plenty of times, this was perhaps her favorite thing she's ever ordered. I started my meal with the Spicy Tuna Bowl, this whole dish was incredibly fresh which is the most important thing when it comes to sushi. It was chunks of tuna, avocado, cucumber layered and then drizzled with spicy sauce. This was a really great way to start the meal and the perfect accompaniment to a sushi roll. I also ordered a Salmon Avocado Roll which was also very fresh. I also dipped the roll in some of the leftover sauce from my spicy tuna bowl which was delicious. If you're looking for a quick delicious bite to eat, Brothers Sushi is sure to satisfy your stomach.
